This is the public record of meaningful features, improvements and fixes. Development previews are labelled clearly until they reach the store.

    New features

    • Organise multiple pens or inks directly from your collection. Select items together to update favourites, move them between storage locations or archive them.
    • Discover Collection insights from your home screen, with collection totals, fill and care history, favourite pairings and rotation suggestions.
    • Report problems without sending an email. Add an optional description and review the available technical diagnostics before choosing what to submit.
    • Take control of saved error reports: turn off automatic reminders, review reports later or delete saved logs.

    Improvements

    • Restore backups with clearer previews and confirmation messages. Restore immediately if you already have a backup, or choose to back up first.
    • Improved iCloud sync progress and recovery guidance, backup validation and restoration of nested storage locations, alongside reliability improvements when editing your collection and adding photographs.

    • Added Japanese and Traditional Chinese, bringing NibVault to nine languages.

    Improvements

    • Select either new language in Appearance and language, or follow your device settings.
    • Spreadsheet imports now recognise translated column headings and Japanese/Traditional Chinese Yes/No values.

    Improvements

    • In-app logos now match your selected colour theme, independently of your Home Screen app icon.
    • Added an optional Model Number field for pens, making it easier to record and find the exact model in your collection.
    • Model numbers are included in catalogue suggestions, shared links, QR labels, PDFs and image cards, as well as collection sync, backups and CSV or Excel imports and exports.
    • In-app logos now match your selected colour theme, including Sakura and Garnet, independently of your chosen app icon.
    • Improved collection loading and recovery, with clearer messages and a retry option if your pens or inks cannot be loaded.
    • Added the installed version and build number to the About screen, making it easier to identify your version when requesting support.

    • A dedicated portrait-iPad layout with a slimmer navigation rail and tablet-sized collection cards.
    • Updated foundations through Expo SDK 57.
    • Widget and Siri summaries use a small, read-only private snapshot rather than direct collection-database access.

    • Corrected portrait iPads falling back to an enlarged phone layout.
    • Corrected Apple shortcut compatibility for supported iOS versions.
